Residential Homeowner Tax Credit
Qualified Products:
Solar Light INC (SLI). certifies that the above mentioned product manufactured and/or assembled and/or installed qualify for a 30% Federal Tax Credit for solar energy systems under photovoltaic systems as prescribed in the Energy Improvement and Extension Act of 2008 (P.L. 110-343) as described in IRS form 5695 as follows: “Qualified solar electric property costs. Qualified solar electric property costs are costs for property that uses solar energy to generate electricity for use in your home located in the United States. This includes costs relating to a solar panel or other property installed as a roof or a portion of a roof. The home does not have to be your main home.” This applies if the above mentioned products were placed into service from January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2016. All Solar Light INC products must be installed per the manufacturer’s installation instructions and meet applicable fire and electrical code requirements to be eligible.
